What I did today ?
- Today, i edited only the front panels of my digipack :
- made sarene's face more softer, so i removed some spots she had in the face.
- created the artist's name and album's name
- added a fade out of back to beige in the artist's name
- downloaded a nice, sophisticated font and colour for the album's name
- made the back cover brighter, so the track list can be seen more clearly
Working on ancillary work 6/1/16
Today was the start of my ancillary digipak on photoshop. I used the photo I originally said I was going to use in my previous blogs and imported it into photoshop. Originally, I wanted to use the photo above as well as another photo of the artist on the bridge however I came across many difficulties doing so as the two photos had completely different colour schemes and they did not go together.
Another problem I faced was finding a way of adding a gradient effect from the photo onto a solid colour. After much playing around in photoshop I was able to merge the photo and solid colour together to create the front and back cover of the digipack
After that, I started to play around with the text placement - I started to have trouble with using white as a font colour as the original photo as a gradient of black and white and the text was not noticeable. Again with trial and error I was able to overcome this problem.
The making of my ancillary product
The making of my ancillary product
I chose this picture because i think i can make good use of the filler features from it.
I started to play around with the lighting and the contrasts and i even added a gradient effect.
