Reflection on editing

In our making of the music video, we had troubles with the first opening of the video as the ending of the establishing shot viewing Zahra and the guy seemed to be shaking and not smooth.
We tried various things: tried to put it into slow motion (75%), tried to cut the clip in sections, tried warp stabilizer but the results didn't really work. So we decided to slow it down and cut a little bit where the camera was shaking at the end, it looked much better.

We also had the time to play around with the colour contrasts and lighting to make the establishing shot of the trees to be more green and welcoming.

What we are doing today 20/11

Today we are continuing with editing. We are looking at the effect different transitions have on the video including fade ins and outs. We are also experimenting with colours and changing the colours in our video to help set the tone of the video and corroborate with our lighting sequence.

Here we were laying out base tracks for the chorus.





Upon reviewing footage and receiving feedback we have decided to reshoot Sarene's scene to add a variety of shots to our chorus. We will do this on Wednesday 25th November.

What we did today? 13/11/2015

In the beginning Eunice and Zahra were finishing labelling the different shots of the sky garden, flashback scene and the argument scene.
After Eunice finished the filming blogposts.
While the Dazhane, Sarene and Zahra edited the music video.

what we did today 6/11/15

Today we were sorting out, deleting and labelling videos to make it easier in the editing process. We were also updating the production schedule and we plan to go to the Sky Gardens next Wednesday
