Review of previous student videos.
Genre: Rap
Intended audience: Youths
Narrative structure: performance and narrative - told the story of the lyrics
Media language: slow motion, jump cuts, base track (abandoned docks)
Representation: long shots, close ups, pan shots
I liked this video because of how well edited it was and there vision of the music video. The skills in lip syncing really came across and I felt the video really suited the video genre and lyrics. I also like the range of shots, angles and locations.
This video followed Andrew Goodwin.s theory as the video very much reflected the lyrics and the artist/s wer present in both narrative and performance.
